Property developer Superior Homes has announced the launch of a Ksh 30 billion gated community in Ruiru.

The project is aimed at meeting the increasing demand for contemporary housing in Kiambu County and its surrounding areas.

Located on a 300-acre former coffee plantation, just 12 kilometers from Thika Road in the Kimbo region, the 10,000-unit development, named Kofi Ridge, will offer elegantly designed three-bedroom townhouses, as well as four- and five-bedroom bungalows and villas.

Prices for individual units at Kofi Ridge start at Ksh 23.06 million.

The estate will feature a variety of amenities, including a secure entrance gate, internet access, paved cabro roads, dependable electricity and water services, solar-powered street lighting, round-the-clock security with regular patrols, and expansive gardens for outdoor activities.

Shiv Arora, the chief executive of Superior Homes, emphasized that meticulous attention has been devoted to every detail of the Kofi Ridge project, encompassing its architecture, finishes, and amenities.

“We are excited to also get this opportunity to not only invest but also offer our products to investors within Kiambu County,” Arora said.

Superior Homes has established significant properties, such as Greenpark and Fadhili Retirement Village located in Athi River, Pazuri at Vipingo, and Lake Elementaita Mountain Lodge in Nakuru.

The firm is currently working on the Lukenya Wildlife Estate in Machakos County, with plans to gradually clear the coffee farm throughout the 25-year duration of the project.

“We shall be replacing similar land size consumed in real estate with other agricultural activities in other areas,” he said, countering claims that the project threatens agriculture.

Kofi Ridge seeks to establish a community where residents can engage with one another and take advantage of its facilities.

“With a focus on security, privacy, and proximity to essential amenities, it is the perfect choice for those seeking a high-quality lifestyle away from the urban hustle,” says Ian Henderson, the managing director of Superior Homes.
