Boondocks means an isolated or rough area.
The group has in the past locked horns with the gospel star Willy Paul calling him out for being an hypocrite.

“Mara juzi juzi Willy Paul ameimba Lamba Nyonyo hapa halafu akam kutuimbia ngoma ingine hapo utamskiza aje?,” loosely translated: “Recently Willy Paul released Lamba Nyonyo then goes to sing gospel songs. How does he us to respect him?” Boondocks posted on their social media spaces.

They did not stop there. The group went for Masterpiece (another gospel artist) jugular terming him a fake whose past time is sleeping with women. The post read:

“Mara juzi juzi Willy Paul ameimba Lamba Nyonyo hapa halafu akam kutuimbia ngoma ingine hapo utamskiza aje?”

Performance charges.

Kenyan media personality turned musician Tanasha Donna Barbieri Oketch, popularly known as Tanasha Donna, has kept social media users and tabloids busy with her exploits mainly stemming from her relationship with Diamond Platnumz. Like her predecessors, Tanasha found out that the awarding winning Tanzanian singing sensation was not after a wife material. She has now joined the long list of Diamond’s baby mamas.

Early Life
She was born in England on July 1995 but moved to Kenya at the age of two. Tanasha was raised in Kenya in her formative years before relocating to Italy with her parents.

At the age of 20, the beauty moved to Kenya and quickly made her name for herself in the entertainment circle.

Career life
The 24 year old is a fashionista and Model. The multi-lingual mother of one secured a job at NRG Radio before love came calling. Natasha Donna was featured in Ali Kiba’s song as a video vixen. The artist made a name in the music industry with her latest jam with ex-husband Diamond. The video garnered over 2 million views.

She has contested in Miss Africa Belgium beauty pageant.

Love life
Initially, Ms Tanasha dated Mr. Nick Mutuma, a Kenyan film star, until 2017 when the two fell apart. She was also rumoured to have dated bongo singing sensation Ali Kiba.
Tanasha then started dating Nasib Abdul Juma alias Diamond Platnumz. The now estranged lovers have a son who was born in October 2019.

All was thought to be well until Tanasha called it quits. In a blistering letter to Diamond Platnumz, Tanasha accused the Jeje hitmaker of being a serial cheater.

Tanasha regretted why she ever fell into Diamond’s trap, after he had separated with Wema and Zari. In a certain publication, Tanasha states, “I wish I consulted Sepetu or Zari before putting live charcoal in my pocket.” Tanasha and Diamond had dated for like two years before parting ways. Though it is yet to be established what really caused the split.

Tanasha Converts To Islam

The mother of one converted to the Islam faith when she was in a relationship with Diamond. She her chose her Muslim name Aisha.

YouTube Earnings

This writer takes a look at how a supermarket attendant became the owner of a successful supermarket chain in the biggest economy in East and Central Africa.

The brains behind Tumaini Supermarkets is Mr. Moses Nditika. The entrepreneur, now the Tumaini Supermarkets Managing Director was once a supermarket attendant. He served in this position for 20 years.

During this period he learnt what it takes to start and run a successful business. He finally sought permission from his boss to leave and start his own shop.

Thanks to his supportive boss, he opened his first branch in Pipeline Estate. Nditika together with his brother and partner pooled their savings amounting to Sh5 million, then secured an additional Sh5 million SACCO loan.

Despite the tough economic times that have seen some businesses close down, Tumaini Supermarkets still thrives.

Today, the Supermarkets boasts of 12 branches that are fully operational.

Recently, Sokoni Retail Kenya acquired over 50% shares in the giant retailer.

Quick Mart and Tumaini Self Service merged on August 26, 2019. Part of the statement announcing the merger read in part:

“Quick Mart and Tumaini Self Service announce that their respective board of directors have authorised the commencement of a merger and business integration of the two companies. This follows the approval by the Competition Authority of Kenya on August 26.”
