Ramogi TV, aired in the Luo dialect, is owned by Royal Media Services, Kenya’s largest media house. The media giant runs three television stations, fourteen radio stations and one video-on-demand platform.
Ramogi TV Viewers Statistics
Ramogi’s viewership is primarily Luo speakers and is set to have the highest reach in Kenya’s Lake region. The station targets all levels and class strata having viewers in rural and urban areas in Kenya.
Ramogi TV Launch and Content
The station is broad and incorporates a variety of segments that includes entertainment, education, culture, politics, arts, music, sports, current affairs, and religious topics. Ramogi TV was launched on Monday 29th November 2021 in an all classy affair attended by the station founder and Chair S.K Macharia, incoming presenters, and Royal Media Services staff.
In attendance included Jeff Koinange, Yvonne Okwara Matole, Waihiga Mwaura, Lulu Hassan, Rashid Abdalla, and Talia Oyando.
Ramogi TV Location
The station will have its operational base at RMS headquarters along Dennis Pritt Road.

Trevor Ombija
Citizen TV presenter Trevor Ombija is one of the incoming presenters who will be at the forefront in transmitting high quality Luo content appealing to millions of viewers across the country. Trevor has had over a decade of experience in the media, working in radio and television stations such as Nation TV, Citizen TV and currently a host in the recently launched Ramogi TV.

Cleophas Oluoch Otieno
Cleophas is a communication expert and a digital media professional whose experience made him a fit in the new television station. Additionally, he has been in RMS since 2018 where he started off in design and content creation growing into social media management and editorial positions.
Sharon Ong’ao
Sharon is another formidable reporter, a news anchor and producer whose background in the media earned her a position on Ramogi TV. Miss Ong’ao has previously worked in the Lolwe network, Family Media, and now Royal Media Services.
Ng’inja Rodgers
Before he joined Ramogi TV, Rodgers was a well known name among Rhumba lovers courtesy of the viral videos he shared on the social media app tik tok. His passion for this genre and the following he amassed on tik tok was the main reason he earned a spot as the Rhumba show host.
Joyce Oduor
Joyce Oduor is among the opening crew at Ramogi TV following the unveiling of the station on Monday. She will be a producer and reporter at the station.
George Bati
Odira George, reporter and political analyst is also one of the Ramogi TV team members. The future of his present role at Mayienga FM is yet to be determined.
Lydia Claudia Okeyo
Lydia Claudia is a gospel musician whose presence in the team will attract audiences in search of religious content in their local Luo dialect. A gospel show might be in the offing with Lydia in charge.
Ochieng Emmanuel
Emmanuel Ochieng is a journalist whose experience and background has landed him a job at Ramogi TV and now awaits to chart the future of his journalism career.
Symprose Okinda
Miss Okinda is one of the lady presenters who will be airing content on the platform.
Jael Lieta
Jael is a journalist in the early stages of her Journalism career and Ramogi TV presents her an opportunity to reach further in her career growth.
