The radio station which was launched in April, broadcasts across five counties in the Rift Valley namely; Kericho, Bomet, Nandi, Nakuru, and Narok counties.

During a recent interview with a local daily, Kosgey revealed that the media house currently commands an audience of 1.2 million people per day. It broadcasts on a 24-hour clock.

The radio station employs eight presenters who entertain the huge audience. The crew includes local radio celebrities; Mzungu Mwafrika and Faith Chebwogen. The others include; Collo Mtuguyaz, DJ Jacktino 254, Benard Ngeno, Denissto Deno, Aphayo Chepkey, Daisy Langat, Dominic Kips, and Cynthia Terer.

Kosgey aspires to launch Nenyon TV soon.

Life Threats

Kosgey hit the headlines in January 2022 following threats to his life over a story he posted on his Facebook page implicating a bodyguard attached to the Kericho Governor a prison warder in a murder.

He had on January 4, posted on Facebook that the bodyguard and the warder had beaten two men for stealing the former’s beehives; one of the men later succumbed to his injuries. He later published the story on Citizen Digital.

After the report aired, Kosgey claimed that his closest friends warned him of a plot by the two suspects to “deal with him”. He revealed that he had received numerous calls alerting him of a hunt since launched for him by the suspects and/or their accomplices.

He reported the matter to the Kericho Police Station under OB number 32/6/01/2022.

The suspects surrendered to the police, a week after the incident.
