Njeri Jomo was recently appointed as the CEO of Jubilee Health. She is the Vice President and Founding Member of Kenya Women in Insurance Association and previously served as the General Manager, Retail Business Development at Britam Group.
She holds an MBA from USIU Africa and has over 20 years of experience in the Insurance sector.

Education Background
Njeri Jomo attended Kenya Methodist University (KEMU) where she graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts – BA (BBA Hons), Marketing. In 2016, she graduated with an Executive Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the United States International University – Africa.
She also holds a diploma in Insurance from the Chartered Insurance Institute. She has attended several training and mentorship programs including the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management and the Women on Boards Network.
The CEO has received an Award in Bancassurance from the Chartered Insurance Institute of London and a Certificate of proficiency (COP): Life & General Insurance from the College of Insurance.
Career Journey
Njeri began her career journey in December 2001 working as an Underwriter, Claims Processor (Motor, Non-Motor, and Health) at the Kenya Alliance Insurance Company Limited.
In March 2003 she joined Midstate Insurance Brokers as a Service Manager (Accident & Health), a position she held for nine months. In the same year, she moved to UAP Insurance Kenya Limited as a financial advisor before joining Britam Group in October 2005.
At Britam, she worked for 17 years holding different positions including Financial Planning Manager, Team Leader – Financial Planning, Head of Financial Advisory, Agency Manager, Head of Investment Linked Products and Head of Retail Life Products & Digital Sales Projects.
In August 2021 she was appointed as the General Manager, Strategic Business Development, a position she held until recently when she left the company.
Joining Jubilee Health Insurance Limited
In November 2022, Njeri Jomo was officially appointed as the CEO)and Principal Officer of Jubilee Health Insurance Limited.

Apart from her new role, Njeri is a mentor in the Presidential Digital Talent Program, a panelist at Africa Women in FinTech & Payments (AWFP) and panelist at Digital Insurance Forum. She is a member of the Women on Boards Network Kenya, a member at The Boardroom Africa and the Vice President at Kenya Women in Insurance.
