Jane Kyallo, a teacher, is among students who topped in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary School Education (KCSE) in 2013.
Recently, she shared photos from when she was still in school disclosing that she was gifted by Archbishop Martin Kivuva for his exemplary performance.
Today, Jane runs a school targeting students in parts of Nairobi including Runda, Garden Estate, Nyari and Lavington.
Here is her story as told by WoK.
In September 2023, Jane took to X, formerly Twitter, to recall her hey days while in high school, sharing a picture while receiving a gift for her performance.
According to the post, she had topped in KCSE at her school, Our Lady of Assumption Tawa Girls High School, and was being awarded by Archbishop Kivuva.
“I was gifted by Archbishop Martin Kivuva for being one of the best students in the KCSE exams,” she wrote.
Additionally, Jane disclosed that she was accompanied to the school by her uncle as her parents had to report to work.
She further shared about her prowess in mathematics saying, “I was a very bright student and everybody knew I was gifted in Maths. Whenever anyone had a problem, they knew they would come to me and get help.”
Thanks to this compassion and willingness to help others out, Jane currently runs a school, JKF Tuition Center, in Runda.
“My tuition targets students in Runda, Ridgeways, Garden Estate, Rosslyn, Nyari and Lavington for all your problems in Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, English and Literature,” Jane shared.
