Mathias Keya, famously known as Alfonse Makacha Makokha is pleading for assistance after the death of his wife Purity Wambui.
The comedian’s close friend and colleague Ondiek Nyuka Kwota shared his plight.
According to Ondiek, Makokha needs to clear his wife’s hospital bills and give her a befitting burial.
Ondiek is the burial committee chairman and pleaded with Kenyans to stand with Makokha and his family.

The actor also shared a playbill for the contribution towards the hospital and burial expenses.

Makokha’s wife Purity Wambui died on Sunday, June 2.
The heartbreaking news was broken by Makokha’s friend and fellow actor Ondiek Nyuka Kwota.
Ondiek described Wambui as a remarkable woman who touched many lives with her kindness and warmth.
