Former Tahidi High actress Gloria Moraa, well known as Nyaboke Moraa, is mourning after the death of her beloved daughter Marrie.
The tragic news was announced by fellow actress Sandra Dacha who called on Kenyans to pray for Nyaboke and her family.
“It is with profound sadness that I announce to you the passing on of Gloria Anazidi Kuiva Moraa’s daughter. Your prayers are what she needs right now. REST IN PEACE Marrie.” She said.
Friends and relatives visited the actress at her home in Syokimau to comfort her.
Among those who visited her included celebrity police officer Sammy Ondimu, Kitutu Chache South MP Anthony Kibagendi, and actress Wilbroda, among others.
Nyaboke, in a social media post, shared her pain saying God had forsaken her.
“There is no God…he can go to hell.” She cried out.
The death of her daughter comes less than a year after the actress lost two of her brothers and niece.
In 2021, Nyaboke lost her husband, Benjamin Ayimba, the celebrated rugby coach who was the father of her sons.
Gloria Nyaboke Moraa is an actress famed for her roles in the Citizen TV drama series Tahidi High and Victor Naman comedy.
In a past interview with Buzz Central, Moraa disclosed that she was born and raised in Kibera, Nairobi County.
The mother of four stated that they lived in the slummy neighbourhood for a while before moving to Utawala.
“I went to Olympic Primary School, and Larry Asego was my teacher, but we moved to Utawala when I was in Form 2, and that is where we live up to now,” she said.
