Comedian Eric Omondi has caused confusion online after meeting viral Kijana Wa Airport, Henry Omondi.

The comedian on Tuesday, July 30 shared a video with the young man and revealed that he would educate and open a business for him courtesy of his Sisi kwa Sisi organisation.

“Tumepata Henry the Whistleblower. Our Boy wants to go back to school…Team sisi kwa Sisi Kwa Sisi huyu tunampeleka shule na tumfungulie ka biashara. Please, guys, be on standby. We are trying to see how we can raise money for him juu hana simu, and he lives on the streets. Will be updating you shortly.” Eric said.

Eric’s announcement comes a day after businessman Kevin Otiende said he would sponsor the boy’s education at the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Institution (TVET).

Netizens are now wondering who among the two will take the responsibility of helping the viral boy.

Kevin Otiende revealed that kijana wa airport is homeless and sleeps in the same streets he was protesting.

Otiende said the boy dropped from school at Class 2 is intelligent and could read and write.

“The journey of transformation for this young man Henry Omondi has started. Today I met him for the first time in my office and heard first-hand his very challenging life in the streets,”

“He is homeless and sleeps on the very same streets he protested, he dropped out of school at Class 2, but I was happy he can read and write and has good handwriting! This young man is what you call inborn intelligence, as he is quite informed! In a few days, we have identified a TVET institution that he can join, and my job is to make sure he gets practical training to become a mechanic as his heart desires”,

“I hope he succeeds and when he does, we all can support him by taking our cars to him for maintenance. Please pray for him.” Otiende said.
