Eldoret, the fifth city in Kenya, is experiencing rapid growth and development.

One of the most prominent landmarks in the city is Daima Towers, also known as MUPS Plaza, which stands tall at 96 meters (315 feet).

This 26-story building is the tallest in Eldoret and serves as a symbol of the town’s progress.

Developed by the Moi University Pension Scheme (MUPS), Daima Towers was constructed using funds from its members.

According to MUPS, they came up with the project in order to gain a foothold in the real estate market in Eldoret Town.

The Board of Trustees acquired the land in which the property sits on for purposes of initially developing their Scheme Headquarters, but they later changed to a commercial development for sale in order to realize returns for the benefit of the members.

“The proposed structure is futuristic in nature giving MUPS a sense of pride as they match into the future. The building rises majestically above the ground of a fast growing town, standing in stately solitude against a natural backdrop,” MUPS said in a statement.

The building features a sleek, modern design that captivates onlookers with its stately presence.

It boasts numerous amenities, including over 350 parking spaces, a penthouse, and a health club with a swimming pool located on the rooftop.

Daima Towers houses a variety of offices, including the Nation Media Group’s Eldoret Bureau and the Law Society of Kenya’s regional offices, as well as Wings 23 Restaurant, which adds to the building’s appeal as a commercial hub.

The total cost of constructing Daima Towers was KSh 3.1 billion, according to Tuko, underscoring the significant investment made in this project.
