Kawira Mwangaza Turns to God After Senate Approves Impeachment

Embattled Meru Governor Kawira Mwangaza is seeking Devine intervention after the Senate upheld her impeachment.

Kawira’s Senate hearing, which continued late into the night, left her shocked and speechless.

On Wednesday, August 21, Kawira shared a message of hope and sought justice from God.

Kawira said the lord would fight her battles and that of her household.

She was hopeful of success despite the Senate setback.

“Today, the Lord will fight for you & your household, he will give you permanent victory in every area of your life,”

“A new beginning of victorious living is starting for you & you shall have great testimonies, every door of blessings, gr greatness shut at you shall be open, every missed opportunity shall be restored, and a divine visit from heaven that will change all ugly situations in your life to beautiful will manifest today. Good morning and have a blessed day.” She shared.

It was a dark night on Wednesday, August 21 for Kawira Mwangaza after she lost her Meru Governor’s seat.

This after senators upheld her impeachment by the Meru County Assembly.

26 senators voted to uphold the first charge of gross violation of the constitution and other laws.

14 senators abstained while four voted in her support.

In the second charge on gross misconduct, 26 senators voted in favour of her impeachment, two against, while 14 others abstained.

27 senators upheld the charge of abuse of office, one voted against and 14 abstained.
