Mark Consuelos is an American actor and talk show host, born on March 30, 1971, in Zaragoza, Spain, to an Italian mother and a Mexican father.
He gained fame for his role as Mateo Santos on the ABC soap opera All My Children from 1995 to 2002 and again in 2010.
Consuelos is also known for playing Hiram Lodge in Riverdale from 2017 to 2023.
He co-hosts Live with Kelly and Mark alongside his wife Kelly Ripa, with whom he has three children.
In 2024, he won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show Host.
Parents
Mark’s parents are Camilla Consuelos, who is Italian, and Saul Consuelos, who is Mexican.
Mark is the youngest of three children and has an older brother who is a doctor and an older sister who is a lawyer.
