Maureen Kabu, reportedly 25, is the firstborn daughter of Bonfire Adventures proprietor and billionaire businessman, Simon Kabu.
Maureen was first thrust into the limelight in 2022 after Simon shared a picture of his three children followed by the caption, “#Kabu’sCubs.” At the time, only two children, from his marriage with his now ex-wife Sarah were known to the general public.
The young Kabu has recently made waves online, described as the heir to her father’s throne. This is after videos circulated online alleging that the Bonfire Adventures tycoon is holding his wealth under her name.

She enjoys a close relationship with her father and is never shy to showcase that even on camera. They have been on multiple vlogs together discussing issues that may be alien to other families.
Simon and his daughter are travel partners, as showcased by their numerous trips together, including one to Dubai and Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Other countries they’ve travelled to together include Belgium, France, Italy, South Africa and Switzerland, among others.
Education
In August 2024, Simon took to social media to celebrate Maureen Kabu’s graduation from college. Though he did not reveal what course she had pursued, he divulged that she had initially contemplated giving up on her studies but found the strength to soldier on.

Maurine took to her socials to celebrate herself, further thanking her parents for their support.

Relationship with her Mother
Maureen Kabu maintains a healthy relationship with her biological mother, often taking to social media to celebrate her and show her off.
While sharing images of herself and her mother during the latter’s birthday, she wrote, “Happiest birthday to my Super woman, prayer warrior and friend. I love and treasure you.”
Relationship with Sarah Mtalii
In 2022, Sarah categorised Maureen Kabu as a ‘stranger’ after she went on vacation with her two kids accompanied by their father, Simon Kabu.
During an interview with the Standard, Sarah stated that she was fearful of anything happening to her children, adding that she never received an apology from Maureen for taking her siblings on a vacation without her consent.
“I was trending because I was defending my children; I feel they are very precious, and nobody should pull such a string just because they have some rights. This was one of the most difficult phases I have ever gone through in my life and motherhood. I had never imagined that someone could come pick up my kids and go with them without my permission,” she said.
“Everything has not been ironed out because I have still not received an apology from the girl. There are still other dramas happening because what you see on social media is just the tip of the iceberg. There’s a lot that is happening in the family which I will not discuss on social media,” she added.
