Egerton University: Certificate & Diploma Courses for D+ Students

Egerton University is among the leading tertiary institutions in the country, offering some of the most competitive courses in the employment market.

Following the release of Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) results earlier this month, students across the country are in a scramble to secure slots in various institutions of higher learning within the country.

The 2024 exams recorded the largest university entry since 2016 after 246,391 students out of the total 965,501 scored a mean grade of C+ and above. The remaining 719,100 students will have to settle for diploma and certificate courses in universities and TVETs.

The Njoro-based university offers multiple certificate courses for students who scored D+ in their KCSE examinations. These courses take a duration of between 30 hours and two weeks to a month, while others last for a month, all costing between Ksh20,000 and Ksh40,000.
