Nothing is as exciting as shopping for your car, it is thrilling and just filled with pure excitement. The Toyota is hard to ignore, and the re-engineered 2013 Vitz is vastly more competitive by almost any measure. Vitz was released for sale by Toyota in January 1999 and became very popular. Toyota Vitz hatchback comes in three-door and five-door models – is a great option for a used subcompact car. The distinctive feature of Toyota Vitz is its short and tall body style. Toyota has a spacious interior, good fuel economy estimates, and a pleasant ride. It also rates highly for reliability and offers some of the lowest ownership costs in its class.

Performance

The 2013 Toyota Vitz has a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine with 106 horsepower. A five-speed manual transmission and front-wheel drive are standard, while a four-speed automatic transmission is available. The engine provides adequate pep around town, but it offers meager passing power at highway speeds and can sound strained. Fuel economy is good by class standards at 12 km per litre in the city and 15km per litre on the highway. Across the model line, the 2013 Toyota Vitz has excellent electric power steering that’s secure on center at highway speeds yet loads up nicely, with a progressive feel off-center—altogether making this small car a joy to drive in the city and secure on the highway. In any of its trims, the model feels nicely buttoned-down for a small car, with much less of the buoyant fore-and-aft feeling we’ve noticed in former versions.

Interior

The Toyota Vitz has five seats, and both rows offer ample head- and legroom for adults. That said, tall drivers may struggle to find a cozy seating position due to the steering wheel’s minimal adjustments. The Vitz has a stylish dashboard and user-friendly controls. The air conditioning knobs are large and within easy reach, and the audio controls are simply arranged. With this model compared to the models before several things have improved like comfort and functionality–including a retuned suspension, improved seats, and a better instrument-panel design. Whether as a three-door or five-door Lift back, the Vitz is sized for tight city streets, and that means that you trade off quite a bit of interior space in the name of manoeuvrability and parking ease. While front-seat accommodations are right on par with vehicles a class larger, like the Corolla, what you give up is some back-seat space.

Driving

Given the expectations most people have for this class of car, the 2013 Toyota Vitz will probably be sufficient. Toyota’s Vitz can deal with the cut-and-thrust of suburban traffic flow and has no problem holding common freeway speeds, though getting up to those speeds can take some patience. The standard electric power steering certainly takes all effort from the steering equation, but that is not always a bad thing in small cars mostly intended for running about town. The Vitz does not lean uncomfortably in corners and has a reasonably compliant ride. The Vitz strikes a nice balance between ride comfort and handling. The hatchback feels stable around corners, its power steering is responsive, and its tidy dimensions make it an easy car to maneuver and park. The model soaks up bumps and dips in the road nicely, providing a smooth ride.

Fuel Economy

The 2013 Vitz delivers on its promises of fuel efficiency in the city. The 2013 Toyota Vitz is a very fuel-efficient small car especially if you commute mainly in a city or suburban area. The Yaris has an excellent 30km per litre city ratings whether you get the four-speed automatic or the five-speed manual, but its aerodynamics keep it from returning the 17km per litre or higher ratings.

Budget

You can never go wrong with the 2013 Toyota Vitz. This hatchback has a great reliability rating, roomy seating space, and fuel-efficient engines. The 2013 Toyota Vitz is the best subcompact car and best hatchback money can buy. The Vitz is just irresistible, practical, stylish, efficient, and safe. Once you get the car you will feel its reliability and eager anticipation to use the gear. The model feels bigger than it is and the price starts at 600k to 900k but you can get it for as low as 350k for the older versions. The Vitz is well known for its reliability, durability, and exceptional fuel consumption along with great engine performance, it has always been popular and reliable at all times.
