Renowned radio presenter Alex Mwakideu has closed down his businesses.

In an update on his social media platforms, the former Milele FM boss announced the closure of Pampered Rides and Pampered Village.

Pampered Rides was a car detailing business and carwash while Pampered Village was a restaurant, mainly serving Swahili dishes.

The businesses were located in Kitengela.

“Pampered Village and Pampered Rides Kitengela Branch are officially closed. Whatever services you will receive from the premises located behind Ola Petrol Station in Kitengela are not of Pampered Enterprises,” Mwakideu wrote.

However, the media personality promised to reopen the business although in a different location.

“We will be opening another branch near you very soon. We apologise for all inconvenience caused by this closure and we look forward to serving you again soon,” he added.

Mwakideu oped the business in January 2022.

Speaking on Jalang’o TV, the radio presenter gave his fans a quick tour inside the newly launched restaurant.

“It a place for ordinary people but mostly those who enjoy finer things in life because we are only offering the finest and we guarantee that you will enjoy our service

“This is Pampered Village so expect purely Swahili cuisine, our guests will enjoy the best of Swahili foods and at least Kitengela will not be known only for nyama choma. I invite everyone to come and leave us a review, our dishes are very tasty,” he said.

Mwakideu establish the business ventures after he took a 50% salary cut due to the difficult COVID-19 pandemic season.
