49 year old former Chelsea manager is the new Inter Milan manager after Luciano Spalletti was shown the door. Antonia Conte plate is full; he has to steer Inter Milan to its lost glory days. The tactician said that he will repay the “trust that the Club and directors have placed in me.” He was quoted by Inter’s website as saying:
“My first impressions have been positive. For me, it’s a new experience, a new chapter in my life, a new challenge. This is what I live for and I’m really excited to begin this new chapter. I would like to thank the President for his wonderful words. Through my work, I’ll try to repay all of the trust that the Club and directors have placed in me.”
Illustrious Career
The coach has a rich history in Italy having coached Siena and Juventus and the Italian national team. At Juventus, Conte won three Serie A titles since taking charge in 2011. He took the management of the Italian national team in 2014 until the UEFA Euro 2016 campaign.
Premier League
He was named the coach of Chelsea in April 2016. He won the Premier League in the first season and FA Cup on his second. Conte was shown the door in July 2018.
Conte’s salary at Inter Milan
The tactician salary at Chelsea was £6.5m-a-year which has been improved upon joining Inter Milan. According to the Independent.co.uk, the coach will pocket €10m (£8.8m) in his first year in charge plus bonuses. This amount will go up if he remains for the 2021/21 season.
