Arnold Saviour, also known as Arnold Samba, is a prominent stand-up comedian, actor, and MC.
He gained recognition for his performances on the popular Churchill Show after auditioning for six years before landing his first role.

Education
Saviour completed his primary education at St. Mary’s Primary School in Nairobi and attended secondary school at St. Joseph’s High School.
He is currently pursuing a law degree at the University of Nairobi, having initially dropped out of school.
Early career
Saviour began his journey in the entertainment industry with a passion for acting and comedy.
He initially ventured into film, where he created comedic skits that resonated with audiences.
However, breaking into the comedy scene was not easy for Saviour as he faced significant challenges, including multiple auditions that did not yield immediate results.
His persistence is noteworthy; he auditioned for the Churchill Show for six years before finally being accepted.
“I did my first audition in 2012 and got my first performance in August 2018. For over six years I was behind the curtains auditioning, and every time I would be told to come on Tuesday. This meant you didn’t meet the cut so you come for more auditions as you grew.
“So, in 2018, I went for the audition knowing I was going to be told ‘come Tuesday’, surprisingly, I auditioned with one of my old skits and I was told to come on Saturday in white outfits, which meant I had met the cut. That’s how I got my first performance,” he said.
In 2018, Arnold achieved a major milestone by joining the cast of the “Churchill Show,” one of Kenya’s most popular comedy platforms.
His performances quickly gained popularity, showcasing his ability to blend physical comedy with relatable storytelling.
Saviour often draws inspiration from his personal experiences, family life, and societal issues, making his content both entertaining and relevant.
Later career
Following his success on television, Saviour expanded his career into stand-up comedy.
He has performed at various events and venues across Kenya, captivating audiences with his energetic performances and engaging storytelling.
Saviour’s comedic style frequently involves observational humor, reflecting on everyday situations that many can relate to.
“I love classifying myself as a versatile comedian; I don’t like being pointed out to a specific style of humour, especially not the tribal ones. Besides, I don’t want to be branded a Luhya or Kikuyu comedian. And if a comedian is creative enough, they do not have to be tied to one style of humour or character, a comedian should be able to create content on any subject,” he said in a past interview.
Looking ahead, Saviour expresses a strong desire to transition further into film and acting.
