Popular Kenyan actress Bwire Ndubi is emotionally pleading for help as she battles cancer.

Ndubi, in a video on social media, asked for financial assistance as she sought treatment abroad for breast cancer.

The actress shared that she has been having a hard time after getting in and out of hospital.

She revealed she has suffered bouts of sickness from the side effects of medication.

” This drug that I was taking, you can’t believe it has over 41 side effects. You can’t tell which one will hit you at what time; you experience some at a point, and others come later. I consulted with my doctor, and I was told to stop taking the medication and I should go back to Turkey for treatment.” She said.

The actress shared a pay bill and phone number where well-wishers can share their contributions.

“If you have anything to spare, please help me. I have nothing to offer you in return but you’ll have saved my life,”

“Paybill 4074668.  Account BN.  Mpesa no: 0716231933- Jackobeth Walloga.” She shared.

Meanwhile, gospel singer Anastacia Kakii, popular for her hit song Kiatu Kivue, has announced she is battling breast cancer.

Kakii, formerly known as Anastacia Mukabwa shared that she needs KSh 3 million for treatment.

The gospel singer is in urgent need of flying to India for advanced treatment.

“A month ago, I was diagnosed with breast cancer and I have been advised to seek urgent medical treatment. The cost is Sh3 million. The doctors have not yet confirmed the stage, but we will overcome this,” she said in an interview with Nation.

Fellow gospel musicians led by Gloria Muliro rallied fans to help raise funds for her treatment.
