The iconic Churchill Show has begun auditions for new talent as it returns to NTV.
The beloved stand-up comedy show has for years unearthed a plethora of talented comedians from Eric Omondi, MCA Tricky to Terence Creative.
The auditions for the show were announced by Daniel Ndambuki alias Churchill.
He shared a poster with details and encouraged upcoming comedians not to miss the chance.
Churchill also encouraged dancers and singers to come and show off their talent.
“This coming Monday at Carnivore.
If you are funny, if you can sing and dance etc. The time is now.” Churchill said.
Churchill Show is finally making a comeback on NTV.
The announcement of the show’s return to the Nation Media Group-owned station was made on Monday, June 24.
The wait is over, Kenya! The legendary Churchill Show is making its grand return after years of requests from you, the fans! We heard you loud and clear, and we’re bringing back the side-splitting comedy, and hilarious sketches you love.” NTV announced in a statement.
For years, the iconic comedy show has been moving around several stations after it left NTV.
In 2020, the stand-up show was hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic that saw the show being stopped forcing many of its comedians to be hit hard financially.
The show had a short stint on KTN Home and later briefly on TV 47.
