Comedian I am Kabugi Graduates From JKUAT University

Content creator Kennedy Kabugi recently graduated from the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT).

In a video shared on the institution’s Facebook page, the comedian shared that he was graduating with a Bachelor in Business Information and Technology.

Kabugi explained that he chose to pursue the course at the institution after being recommended by friends who previously studied there.

Without giving any reason, the Nakuru native also noted that he wanted to be away from home, and also mentioned JKUAT’s reputation in IT.

“It has been [good], especially IT-wise and I’ve gotten a chance to interact with a number of personalities from here. It has been a good experience,” he said.

Kabugi also spoke on how he managed to bakance bith content creation and studying, noting that he is passionate about both.

“I’ve been doing this since I was a kid, I have been acting, I’ve been in drama, this is something that has been growing in me,” he said.

Kabugi’s graduation comes a month after he disclosed plans to run for a political seat in the upcoming General Election.

In an interview, he noted that although he has not decided what seat he will run for, he will be in the ballot come August 2027.

Kabugi assured people from his hometown in Nakuru East constituency that he might aim for a Member of Parliament seat.

He, however, noted that he is not limited to the legislative post and would consider a more senior role as a senator if need be.

“2027 I will be on the ballot watu wangu Sijasettle bado, but I must be on the ballot,” he said.

Following this declaration, Kabugi joins a long list of celebrities who turnedto politics including Bahati, Frasha, DNG, MC Jessy and Jalang’o among others.
