Dennis Aseto: Profile of Journalist Replacing Eric Latiff at Spice FM’s Situation Room

Dennis Aseto is a prominent Kenyan journalist and news anchor, currently working for KTN News and KTN Home.

He also hosts the News Center show on Saturdays and contributes to Spice FM and Vybez Radio.

Previously, he served as the Head of News at Homeboyz Radio.

Aseto is recognized for his skills in breaking news and media relations, with a solid background in media production.

Early career

Aseto began his career as a radio presenter at ENC Radio in August 2008, serving in that role until August 2009.

In September 2009, he transitioned to Royal Media Services as a Radio Producer, a position he held until February 2010.

In October 2015, Aseto became the Breakfast News Anchor and Head of News at Homeboyz Radio, a role he maintained until May 2021.

During this time, he also served as Head of News at One FM from July 2019 to May 2021, overseeing the News Desk and content dissemination.

Transition to TV

In 2021, Aseto transitioned to television by joining KTN News.

As a news anchor, he quickly gained prominence for his ability to deliver breaking news and conduct interviews with clarity and professionalism.

Aseto’s work at KTN allowed him to reach a broader audience and further refine his journalistic skills.

He currently hosts the News Center show on Saturdays, where he covers current events and engages with viewers on various topics.
