Veteran news anchor and investigative journalist Dennis Okari hosted his new show a week after he was unceremoniously fired from NTV.

Buoyed by his heavy social media presence, the journalist co-hosted  the Social Newsroom with Mark Masai on December 15, at 6pm on all their social media platforms and YouTube channel.

Looking all jovial and prepped up for his new show, the newsman shared this on his twitter pages:

Here’s to untold stories and the people who’ve enriched our lives. To more stories and inspiring change!

Salut!

Ladies and Gentlemen welcome to the future!

This came five days after Mark Masai had shared a tweet on his new show by the same name produced by Sema Box.

Ladies & Gentlemen:

To the new way of doing things.

To finding meaning in what we experience. To finding stories that matter to us.

Okari exit from the Nation Media Group owned TV station came as a surprise to many but he seemingly took it in his stride.

“My assignment at NTV has come to an end. I’m grateful to God for the opportunity to serve. I gave it my all but I couldn’t have done it without the help of an incredible team,” he said.
