In his demand letter, the DJ accused Obinna of slander and blatant unprofessionalism.

My brand is something I take with the utmost seriousness, and I refuse to entertain any form of defamation, whether it’s intended as a joke or not.” The demand letter read in part.

Kalonje said Obinna’s remarks that he lacks skills for live mixes blatant defamation of his brand.

“Your complete disregard for others when you recklessly spew harmful statements about someone else’s brand is not only appalling but utterly irresponsible. I have dedicated years of hard work to building my reputation, and your actions are nothing short of unprofessional and immature,”

“Note that your actions of making such utterances amount to defamation and are a threat to our client’s business and brand ABOUT current and future bookings,”

“We shall proceed to institute the requisite legal proceedings against you at your own cost, risk and consequences.” The letter said.
