Popular actor Inspekta Mwala, real name Davies Mwabili, troubles are far from over after it emerged he was drunk when he hit and killed a pedestrian in Kaloleni, Kilifi county.
The actor was rescued from an irate mob that was baying for his blood by police officers David Maina following the accident. Kilifi Police Commander told a leading daily that the funny man hit the 35 year old Samwel Mmwaki and killed him on the spot after he lost control of his Toyota Axio as he tried to overtake another car.
Mwala is out on police bail.
