The DCI has labelled blogger Edgar Obare a serial fraudster after he made damning allegations against Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua. According to a long thread on their twitter account, the DCI shared how Obare had coached one Desy Oduor Achieng into claiming that she was six months pregnant with the governor’s child.
Detectives from the Cybercrime unit unearthed how the blogger recruits young women who he then coaches how to……“stalk prominent personalities in political, business and religious circles for monetary exploitation. They ladies are then coached by Obare, on how to ensnare the victims into their traps then extort unimaginable sums of money from them…..“
Obare and his co-accused were intent on extorting kes10million from the governor.
