Elina Svitolina, born on September 12, 1994, is a highly accomplished Ukrainian professional tennis player.

At 30 years old, she has achieved a career-high ranking of world No. 3 in singles and has won 17 WTA Tour singles titles, including the prestigious 2018 WTA Finals.

She has also reached the semifinals of Wimbledon and the US Open in 2019.

Svitolina is the first Olympian to win a medal in tennis for Ukraine, securing a bronze at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

After a break in 2022 to give birth, she made a strong comeback in 2023, winning a WTA title and reaching the quarterfinals of the French Open and the semifinals of Wimbledon.
