Nearly a month after some 1.3 million candidates sat for their KCPE exams, the Form One selection process will be completed by Tuesday, January 17.
According to Education CS Ezekiel Machogu, the selection process was done using a computer-generated placement system.
The CS explained that the system is based on performance, choice and capacity of a particular institution.
The ministry will also use affirmative action to place learners in national schools, where all top five candidates of either gender from every sub-county are placed in top schools based on their choices.

Via SMS
Send an SMS to 22263 with your KCPE index number to find out which school has selected you to enroll in.
Please note that the SMS charges are Ksh 25 and the code works for Telkom, Airtel and Safaricom telecoms.
You shall then receive your Form One 2022 selection results; that is the school for which you have been selected to join Form 1.
Online
- Got to the Ministry of Education Website.
- Select the county and sub-county where the candidate sat for KCPE Exam.
- Enter your KCPE index number.
- Click Submit.
- Click on the admission letter at the bottom of the page to download and print.
