Safaricom’s Skiza Tunes service allows customers to set personalized music tunes for their callers. While this service may seem convenient, it can become a nuisance when it comes to managing subscriptions and charges.

Many Safaricom customers may find themselves unknowingly subscribed to Skiza Tunes or struggling to unsubscribe from the service.

In this article, WoK will provide a step-by-step guide on how to unsubscribe from Safaricom Skiza Tunes.

How does SKIZA Tunes work?

Safaricom Skiza Tunes is a value-added service that allows Safaricom subscribers to personalize their caller tunes with their favorite songs, music, or soundtracks.

Skiza tunes are played to callers whenever they dial the subscriber’s number, instead of the traditional ringing sound.

Once a subscriber has set a Skiza tune, anyone who calls their number will hear the tune instead of the traditional ringing sound.

The Skiza tune service charges a daily fee of Ksh 1 to Safaricom subscribers, which is deducted automatically from their airtime or billed to their postpaid account.

Safaricom partners with various music companies and artists to provide Skiza tunes to its subscribers.

The artists and music companies earn royalties from Skiza tunes based on the number of times their tunes are played to callers.
