The establishment’s boasts one of the most rare interior designs, a blend of two cultures with a modern twist. The decorative bamboo and pillars painted with bright flowers add an exotic feel to the ambience.

The bar team at Japanese-Peruvian restaurant INTI offer cocktails to match its exceptional fusion cuisine – and that means Pisco Sours. This classic gets the attention it deserves here, with the venue’s standard version front and centre, joined by three flavoured infusions.

A Peruvian blend of pisco (chilcano), lime juice and ginger beer – gets a good look in too, with a number of variations. The restaurant finds the intersect of flavours from Peru and Japan for the perfect signature cocktails.

The menu at INTI includes four main sections — the Sushi Bar, the Robata (marinated skewers fired on a charcoal grill), the Wok and Tempura.

There is a cusine christened, “tiger milk” – a spicy Peruvian dressing of chillies, pepper and lime in milk. INTI also has vegetable ceviche and a Caribbean style mango ceviche or enchiladas of crispy tofu or couscous and avocado as non-meat options.

Other exquisite meals on the menu include the creamy Arroz con Marisco which is based on the Peruvian paella rice dish with seafood and cheese, but uses Japanese rice. Also, there is the tenderly grilled Sakanayaki fish which is served on a bed of bright green rice that has the texture of mashed potatoes. The colour comes from the chimichurri sauce of spinach, butter, oregano and olive oil.
