Israel Mbonyi: Rwandan Gospel Singer to Charge Upto KSh 20k for Nairobi Show

Rwandan gospel sensation Israel Mbonyi has announced he will perform in Kenya.

Mbonyi is much loved by fans of worship music and his songs have generated millions of views across Kenya.

The gospel singer used his social media platforms to share a poster of his concert in Nairobi on August 10, 2024, at the Ulinzi Sports Complex along Lang’ata Road.

The cheapest ticket the regular will cost KSh 3000 and the highest 1st class VVIP KSh 20000.

“Hello, beautiful people of Kenya, this is Israel Mbonyi and I have good news to share,”

I’m thrilled to announce that I’m coming to Kenya this year 2024. I will be performing live in Nairobi and the Africa Worship Experience on the 10th of August 2024 at the Ulinzi Sports Complex along Lang’ata road,” Mbonyi said.

The Rwandan star said his dream has always been to perform in Kenya.

“Kenya holds a special place in my heart and I’m super grateful for your support. You have been the number one supporter of my ministry for the last few years and I’m super grateful for you guys the time has come for us to worship together live in person,”

“It has always been my dream to come to Kenya and finally, I’m coming. I can’t wait to be without so invite your friends,” he added.

Mbonyi in the Democratic Republic of Congo on May 20, 1992.

He previously sang in his language, Kinyarwanda, until 2023 when he embarked into singing in Swahili with his first song being the popular hit, ‘Nina Siri’, on June 26, 2023.

Nina Siri has over 48 million views on YouTube.

In Kenya among his biggest fans is former vice president Kalonzo Musyoka.

Mbonyi holds a degree in Pharmacy that he obtained from India.

He loves watching and playing basketball and reads fictional and non-fictional books in his spare time.
