A Kenya Power employee died on Tuesday, August 13, after falling from an electric pole at the Nyabondo Centre in Nyakach, Kisumu County.
Upper Nyakach Assistant County Commissioner Dawin Orina confirmed the tragic incident.
“The man, who has been identified as Jackson Okoth, was carrying out routine maintenance in the company of his colleagues when he accidentally fell on his head,” Orina said.
Linda Nyasemelang’o, sister to the deceased shared an emotional message on how her brother went to work only to end up in the morgue.
