A section of Kenyan celebrities have been making wise investment decisions to secure their future. This is evidenced by the businesses they own and the very fact that they are moving away from renting to now owning their own houses.
WoK takes a look at the celebrities who moved to their own houses in 2022.
Zarika Fatuma
Female boxer Zarika Fatuma has shared on a social media a bungalow that she recently acquired.
The three-bedroom house is located in a gated community along Kenyatta Road in Kiambu County.
Zarika said she acquired the house using proceeds from SportPesa where she also serves as a brand ambassador.
The house features a master ensuite bedroom, a modern open plan kitchen, a well-lit entry hall, a spacious sitting room, and parking for two vehicles.
Thee Pluto
Thee Pluto’s five-bedroom mansion will leave you green with envy. Neither has he disclosed its location nor incurred construction expenses, but judging from the video, its value could be anywhere KSh 10 million.
On the ground floor, there is a room that he has turned to an office, a kitchen with a white backsplash, heater, electric cooker, a fridge, and a white UV high-quality countertops as standard for the two immaculate kitchens in the house.
On the second floor, there are three bedrooms – including a master cubicle with a big TV screen – that have expensive closets. There is also a bathroom with a water closet and a frameless glass shower.

Bahati and Diana Marua
In February, the controversial couple reportedly bought a four-bedroom mansion located at Kamakis along the Eastern Bypass at KSh 27.5 million.
The main entrance opens into a dining room which borders an open-plan kitchen with inbuilt appliances such as a dishwasher, oven, burners, and microwave.
The living room features a sunken floor, large windows and an electronically operated fireplace.
The ground level holds the kitchen, living room, one guest bedroom ensuite, and a laundry area with the master bedroom featuring a walk-in closet, dressing table and an ensuite bathroom.
Terence Creative
In May, comedian Terence Creative and Milly Chebby showed off an exquisite family home that they are building.
The house, which sits on a sizeable piece of land, features a black, modern roof.

Jalang’o and Alex Mwakideu twin mansions
Media personalities Felix Odiwuor and Alex Mwakideu are building twin mansions just next to each other and have been sharing the progress with fans.
In one of the site visits, Jalang’o gave fans a closer look showing white paint applied inside the house and a few areas remaining to be completed.
A month earlier, Jalang’o gave fans a tour of his village home, showing off the huge sitting area with lovely chandeliers on the ceiling.
He also showed some of the huge bedrooms in the house, including the guest bedroom and the washrooms well spaced out.
Sammy Boy
Sammy lives in a three-bedroom apartment in a serene surrounding.
The main door opens to a spacious living room fitted with a comfortable L-shaped seat worth KSh 250,000 from Furniture Palace.
The living room hosts a large 85 inch Sony Television worth KSh 350,000 and light furnishings hanging above the high ceilings with the walls depicting class and elegance.
The balcony has a vibrant grass imitation carpet and comfortable outdoor seats including a hanging swing chair. The balcony also boasts a heater.
The house has three bedrooms; one is a room which is used by his sisters and has a simple bed while the other is a guest bedroom which has large windows.
The master bedroom has a large bed which sits on the wall with a 55-inch Hisense television hanging in front of it.
Opposite the bed is a small shelf decorated with an array of designer perfumes.
