KUCCPS Opens Admissions for Grades C to D+ Students at KMTC

The Kenya Universities and Colleges Placement Service (KUCCPS) has declared the availability of admission slots for certificate and diploma programs at the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC).

A total of 29 slots are open for these programs, and applicants are invited to submit their applications until November 10, 2024.

“Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) invites applications for placement in various programmes offered at Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) Interested and eligible persons should log into the KUCCPS students Portal ( students.kuccps.net ) and apply,” the statement read.

In the event of any difficulties encountered during the application process, applicants are encouraged to contact the KUCCPS call center at 0205137400 or 0723954927, or to visit the KUCCPS website at www.kuccps.net.

Among the 29 available positions for courses at KMTC, 9 are designated for certificate programs, while 21 are allocated for diploma programs.

The courses offered at KMTC have specific qualification criteria and grade prerequisites.

Those requiring a mean grade of C- include certificate programs in Community Health Assistant, Health Records and Information Technology, Medical Emergency Technician, Medical Engineering, Orthopaedic Trauma Medicine, and Public Health.

Candidates with a mean grade of D+ are eligible to apply for a certificate in Nutrition and Dietetics, while those seeking to enroll in the diploma program for this course must possess a mean grade of C-.

Additionally, there are courses available for students who have achieved a mean grade of C Plain.
