Nairobi Aviation College is a Kenyan institution offering certificate and diploma courses.
The institution was founded to initially offer aviation related courses and ranks among the top colleges in the country offering courses in that field.
With time, the institution has grown to offer courses in other fields. Some of the successful programmes offered by the college include Kenya National Exams Council courses (KNEC) on Aeronautical engineering, Business, Information Technology and Economics.
For over ten years, the institution has produced competitive candidates who have been employed in various sectors of the economy while others have ventured into self-employment.
It is a registered institution by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology.
NAC examination bodies include City & Guilds, KASNEB, KNEC, ICM and IATA Training and Development Institute.
How it Started
Nairobi Aviation College was established mainly as a college for teaching aviation courses which included: Aeronautical Engineering, Aircraft operations, Travel and Tourism.
The college was located at Nature House Tom Mboya Street
Owner
The institution is owned by controversial city pastor Peter Manyuru. He reportedly acquired the institution after the founder relocated to the United States of America.
He is the chairman board of Directors and also the Chief Principal at the college.
Manyuru has had his fair share of controversies that have led to members of the public questioning his moralities as a man of God.
In 2015, he grabbed national headlines after he was accused of allegedly using his influence to take advantage of female students at the college.
Manyuru was accused of allegedly impregnating several girls at the college and then abandoning them. According to various media reports, he later married a student he had impregnated as his second wife.

NAC’s main campus is located in Nairobi in Embakasi. Other campuses around the country are located in Kisumu, Eldoret, Kitale, and Mombasa.

School of Aircraft Operations which offers diploma courses in: Air Cargo/Cargo Rating, Airport operations, Aviation Security, Emergency Planning, Flight Dispatch, IATA Cargo marketing, Passenger and A handling, Advanced Diploma in Live Animal Regulations.
School of Hospitality which offers advanced diploma courses in: Food and Beverage Services, Food Production/ Pastry and Bakery, Hotel and Catering Management, Hotel and Hospitality, Sales Skills and Housekeeping and Accommodation, Diploma in Front Office Operations/ Customer Services.
