Effective November 1, 2024, MultiChoice Kenya will implement a price increase across its DStv subscription packages.
This decision is part of the company’s strategy to manage rising operational costs and maintain service quality amid increasing competition from both traditional and digital entertainment platforms.
“We would like to inform you that MultiChoice will be making adjustments to some of its DStv subscription prices effective 1st November 2024,” MultiChoice Kenya Managing Director Nzola Miranda said.
While the price increases may be unwelcome news for some subscribers, MultiChoice believes that this adjustment is necessary for maintaining high-quality service and content offerings.

New Price: Ksh 11,000
Previous Price: Ksh 10,500
Percentage Increase: 4.7%
2. DStv Compact Plus
New Price: Ksh 6,800
Previous Price: Ksh 6,500
Percentage Increase: 4.6%
3. DStv Compact
New Price: Ksh 3,900
Previous Price: Ksh 3,700
Percentage Increase: 5.4%
4. DStv Family
New Price: Ksh 2,100
Previous Price: Ksh 2,000
Percentage Increase: 5%
5. DStv Access
New Price: Ksh 1,200
Previous Price: Ksh 1,100
Percentage Increase: 9.1%
