Nick Sirianni is the current head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles, holding the position since 2021.

He’s achieved a 34-17 record in his first three seasons, marking the most wins for an Eagles head coach during that period and leading the team to three consecutive playoff appearances—a franchise first.

Before joining the Eagles, Sirianni’s coaching journey included roles at Mount Union, Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP), and in the NFL with the Kansas City Chiefs, San Diego/Los Angeles Chargers and Indianapolis Colts.

Notably, he was the wide receivers coach at IUP from 2006 to 2008. In February 2025, Sirianni guided the Eagles to victory in Super Bowl LIX, defeating the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22.

Parents

Nick was born to Fran and Amy Sirianni. His father, Fran Sirianni, dedicated 45 years to coaching high school football, even coaching Nick at Southwestern Central High School where Nick graduated in 1999.

Fran was also a defensive back and four-year starter at Clarion State College (now Clarion University), earning him a place in the Clarion Sports Hall of Fame.

Amy Sirianni is recognized by Nick as a source of inspiration and unwavering belief. Nick has two older brothers, Mike and Jay, who are also deeply involved in coaching.

Mike serves as the head coach at Washington & Jefferson College, and Jay previously coached at Southwestern Central High School. Clearly, football is a strong family tradition for the Sirianni’s.

Sirianni’s coaching journey began in the collegiate ranks, initially as a defensive backs coach at Mount Union and then as the wide receivers coach at Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP).

His entry into the NFL began with the Kansas City Chiefs as an offensive quality control coach, a role that provided him with invaluable experience in game planning and analysis.

He later transitioned to wide receivers coach for the Chiefs, demonstrating his ability to develop players at the professional level.

Sirianni continued his NFL progression with the San Diego/Los Angeles Chargers, where he took on increasingly responsible roles, including quarterbacks coach, further expanding his understanding of offensive strategy.

A significant turning point in his career came when he was appointed as the offensive coordinator for the Indianapolis Colts.

In this role, Sirianni was responsible for designing the team’s offensive game plan and working closely with the quarterback and other offensive players.

As head coach of the Eagles, Sirianni is responsible for all facets of the team, from player personnel to overall strategy.

After a rocky start, he quickly transformed the Eagles into a dominant force. His leadership culminated in a Super Bowl LIX victory over the Kansas City Chiefs, solidifying his place among the NFL’s elite coaches.
