Quiver Lounge & Grill located along the Thika Super highway opposite Garden City is one of the most popular entertainment joints in Nairobi. The nightspot is a beehive of activities on weekends as hundreds of cars jostle for parking spaces. Women keep the party alive as they twist their agile bodies in harmony with the loud music. This watering hole has been a magnet for revelers for the longest time.

The owner of Quiver Lounge & Grill is Peter Mbugua, who has added to his portfolio of clubs with the now new Quiver Lounge & Grill, Kenol in Muranga.

Design

The club is well ventilated and has sizeable open spaces allowing the revelers to have a view of the superhighway as they drown their favorite drink. Those driving by or walking can also have a peek of what is happening inside the club.

Their new Kenol branch has almost a similar design. The joint is tastefully designed with the interior decor effectively merging green and red.

Nyama choma is also available.

VIP Guests

President William Ruto and his team made a stop at the nightspot after a church service to have lunch months to the concluded general elections. Ruto was accompanied by DP Rigathi Gachagua, Nairobi governor Johnson Sakaja among other UDA leaders.

Controversy

Quiver Lounge was among 43 entertainment joints that faced closure over accusation of noise pollution. The Nairobi County Liquor Board seemed to have reached some kind of agreement with the proprietors of these businesses as the issue went quiet.

Prayers

The lounge made headlines when a video of Catholics priests blessing their new Kenol branch made heavy rotation on social media platforms.

Speaking to Citizen Digital, Peter Mbugua said that the priests had to come to bless the new mall as a whole QuiverLounge is just a tenant.

” ……the mall in which Quiver Lounge sits, was being dedicated to God as any business person would as he embarks on a new business challenge. While Quiver Lounge is a nightspot, it also enjoyed the blessings from the priests since it’s also part of the many businesses the Murang’a mall hosts, “ the owner told Citizen Digital.

He went on to add:

“We have always sought pastors to pray for our nightclubs every time we open a new branch. This is a business like any other. There are a lot of risks in nightclubs – people can be stabbed to death with bottles, there are knives involved, fires in the kitchens, and stampedes too.

We always ask God to protect us from hazards and we also channel a lot of our profits to the Church. I don’t see any controversy in asking men of God to bless a new nightclub. “
