Mint Mua Restaurant has launched in Mua Hills, Machakos County.

The restaurant was officially opened on Mashujaa Day in an event that was packed with families who came to mark the holiday away from the city.

Speaking during the event, Mint Mua owner Susan Mwauda hailed the idea of having the restaurant away from the busy Nairobi life.

“I am greatly honoured to launch this restaurant in Mua Hills. We saw the need to offer clients an atmosphere for relaxation as they enjoy the best meals

“The fact that it is just a few minutes from Nairobi is definitely a plus,” said Mwauda.

Mint Mua is a perfect venue for events such as birthday parties and weddings, and a getaway for families, groups of friends or individuals.

The restaurant’s spacious sitting area offers a magnificent view of the Nairobi CBD during both daytime and nighttime.

Interestingly, the restaurant has no Wi-Fi but it offers an array of games for all age groups which enables friends and families to enjoy each other’s company.

Mint Mua also offers a designated playing field for children where they can engage in other activities among them football, bouncing castles, drawing and painting.

Mwauda explained;

“As a parent, I am well aware of the need for my children to also fully enjoy themselves when we are out as a family. Very few restaurants offer that. I also know that sometimes we just want to have fun as a family outside the home

“This restaurant creates that appeal where children can enjoy games with their parents, but also play by themselves. Our vision was to offer families the perfect spot to just relax and not worry too much about what their children are doing.”
