Comedian Njugush and his beautiful wife Celestine Ndinda have ventured into another investment.

The couple recently announced that they are now in the matatu business.

Njugush and Celestine unveiled the matatu named Tugi, after their son on their YouTube channel.

Tugi is the couple’s first-born child and they have hinted about buying more matatus in the future.

The Matatu has a large TV screen to be used to advertise products for clients and will also place posters on the seats for promotional products.

The matatu will ply the Nairobi-Kitengela route.

It will be under the Super Metro matatu sacco with Njugush confirming that members of the public can hire it for functions too.

It’s not known yet how much the couple spent to buy the matatu.

The couple also run a clothing line together and have been holding hugely popular TTTnt live shows.

In 2023, Njugush and Celestine sold out a live show in Australia that was attended by thousands of fans.

President William Ruto recently joked that Njugush and Butita make more money than him.

“YouTube has been a partner with us, when we did ask them that they allow Kenyans to register from Kenya and to monetise, it was a difficult decision but let me say thank you very much because they have come through for us… that is why we have Njugush and Butita around. These are our great artistes who today are monetising their content.” Ruto said.

“Pongezi sana gentlemen, those two young men you see there are making more money than my salary, msiwaone hivi ati wamevaa sijui t-shirt, those guys are serious entrepreneurs, congratulations for trailblazing for being the example to many of our young people and knowing that the creative space, the YouTube space is available for our young people.” the president added.
