Former Kirinyaga Woman Representative Purity Wangui Ngirici and her husband are proud parents after their daughter graduated in Canada.

The couple flew to Canada to attend the graduation of their daughter Wanjiku Ngirici at the University of Prince Edward Island.

Ngirici posted a heartwarming message on social media dedicated to her daughter.

“Our Dearest Daughter, Congratulations on your graduation! Watching you accept your Degree at the University of Prince Edward Island was one of the happiest moments of our life. Seeing you achieve this milestone filled my heart with pride and joy,” she said.

The politician said her daughter worked hard to graduate and overcame many challenges.

“You’ve worked so hard to get here, overcoming every challenge with grace and determination. I am incredibly proud of the strong, intelligent, and amazing person you’ve become. This accomplishment is just the beginning of your incredible journey” Ngirici said.

Ngirici said graduation was a proud moment for her and her husband Andrew Peter Ngirici.

“I am excited about your future and all the wonderful things you will achieve. Congratulations, my love. You have made Your Dad General Andrew Peter Ngirici and I so proud,”

“With all my love I wish you the best,” she added.

Before 2017, Purity Ngirici Wangui led a rather quiet life and concentrated on her family’s vast investments across different fields.

This low profile however took an abrupt change when Ngirici declared her interest to vie for the Kirinyaga woman representative seat.

Though she was then a novice politician, one thing she knew was that one had to court attention at all costs and crush her enemies completely.

Through her billionaire husband, Ngirici mounted an affluent campaign characterised by a hired chopper and high-end SUVs as she successfully won the woman rep seat.
