The Ugandan leader said he had intelligence reports that revealed Babu was collaborating his political rivals.

The National Resistance Movement (NRM) is the ruling party in Uganda.

Museveni said despite information on Babu Owino he has never accused him of anything but had to reveal everything today.

“There are some individuals in Raila’s group who think I don’t know what they are doing. I am a consumer of intelligence services. I always see intelligence service reports. There’s a character called Babu. I always see Babu dealing with anti-NRM groups in Uganda,”

“I have never accused him, but now I am accusing him.” Museveni said.

The Embakasi East MP is close ally of Ugandan opposition leader Bobi Wine.

He has been vocal in his support Bobi and his movement in Uganda.
