Actress and socialite Mishi Dora was recently presented in court over failure to foot a KSh 152,550 bill at a city restaurant.
Nation reported that the socialite walked into Golden Ice Bistro located at Nextgen Mall along Mombasa Road and ordered drinks worth the aforementioned amount.
According to court documents, Mishi ordered six bottles of Belaire Luxe 750ml valued at KSh 75,000 and seven Hennessy VS 750ml valued at KSh 70,000.
She further ordered two chicken breasts valued at KSh 3,000, one cocktail drink valued at KSh 2,000, two bottles of 300ml coke valued at KSh 500, a one litre bottle of mineral water valued at KSh 400 and three bottles of Redbull energy drink valued at KSh 1,650.
When it was time to pay, the game started with Mishi claiming that her ATM card was not working and she was not able to pay.
After brief negotiations with the staff at the entertainment joint, the socialite requested the club manager to escort her to her Lavington home to collect some cash to settle the bill.
However, after about an hour, she requested them to escort her to the airport to pick up an artiste, and they waited for hours, but no one showed up.
The actress then requested them to give her until Monday, May 30, to settle the issue with her ATM as it was past bank operation time.
However, she did not keep her end of the bargain prompting them to file a report at the Akila Police Station.
Mishi was released on a KSh 50,000 cash bail and an alternative bond of KSh 200,000.
