Former nominated Senator Millicent Omanga and her husband on Friday, June 14 celebrated their son’s graduation at Brook House School in Nairobi.

Omanga is married to Francis Nyamiobo.

The fiery politician met her husband while she was at the University of Nairobi pursuing a degree in Journalism.

The two have been married for almost twelve years and have two children.

The legislator’s husband is a medical doctor whose research delving into HIV and AIDs has appeared in respected journals.

He co-authored a journal titled “Association of sex work with reduced activation of the mucosal immune system” with seven other researchers. The background of the study reads:

“Unprotected intercourse and seminal discharge are powerful activators of the mucosal immune system and are important risk factors for transmission of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). This study was designed to determine if female sex work is associated with changes in mucosal immunity.”
