Bomet Woman Representative Linet Chepkorir Toto was treated to a colourful baby shower by her fiance and parliamentary colleagues.

The ivory-white-themed event saw Toto being gifted by her fiance Nifty Kim and several women representatives and MPs.

Among those who graced the lavish event were: Nairobi Woman Rep Esther Passaris, Suba North MP Millie Odhiambo, Kirinyaga Woman Rep Njeri Maina and her Nakuru counterpart Liza Chelule and Senator Joyce Korir among others.

Toto was also garlanded with cash that was made into a necklace of KSh 1000 notes.

The amount totalled KSh 100,000 and also gifted baby items including an expensive baby rocker bassinet.

Toto in a heartwarming post thanked her colleagues and friends for the baby shower surprise.

“What a wonderful surprise. What a wonderful day,”

“Thank you my colleagues hon members of Parliament and friends for showing us your endless love Thank you be blessed.” She posted.

When she threw her hat into the Bomet woman representative ring, little was known about Toto.

The daring politician began her education at Chemamun nursery school and proceeded to Kapsimbiri Primary School. She then attended both Kapsimbiri (form 1 and 2) and Siwot secondary schools.

The 3rd born in a family of 7 was born a leader and was the school’s head girl in primary school.

Chepkorir went on to become a class representative in junior classes and ultimately became the school president in form 4.

She holds a degree in Procurement and Logistics from Tharaka University College.
