DJ and actress Pierra Makena has announced that her daughter Ricca Pokot has landed a job.
An excited Pierra took to social media to share the joyous news of her daughter being the new host for Churchill Show Kids Corner.
“God has done it again, Ricca is now the co-host for CHURCHILL’S Show Kids Corner. Blessings on blessings. Thank you fam.” Pierra said.
This is not the first time, Makena’s daughter is following her mother’s footsteps in the entertainment industry.
Ricca has appeared in series like Disco Matanga next to celebrated stars like Awinja and Butita.
The 8-year-old is also a brand influencer for several brands including Sta Soft and has her own YouTube channel.
Ricca’s mother, Pierra Makena is one of the biggest female DJs in the country, she was born in 1981 in Meru.
She attended Chogoria Girlsls before joining the Kenya Institute of Mass Communication.
Establishing herself as an actor, she became famous for her role in Tahidi High.
The DJ has also had big roles in a couple of productions including Kisulisuli, Changes and When Love Comes Around.
She has always managed to maintain her youthful look and in 2020 became the talk of the town after losing more than 25kgs in three months.
