Bernard Ngore: Former NSC Chairman & Mechanical Engineer Who Owns SpringWells Hotel in Maua, Meru County

Bernard Ngore is a mechanical engineer and current chairman of the Kenya Motors Repairs Association (KeMRA). He is also the former National Standards Council (NSC) chairman at the Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS) board.

Ngore, who holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) and a postgraduate diploma in administrative management from the Institute of Administrative Management in London, also served as a board member of Numerical Machining Complex NMC (2012-2014).

After completing his studies in London, he worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Honda of the UK Manufacturing Ltd from April 2000 to September 2005.

Ngore boasts vast experience in the motor vehicle repair industry. Bernard is the founder and Chief Executive Officer at Top-quality Motors Ltd., one of the leading automotive repair companies in the country. Top Quality Motors attained ISO 9001:2008 Certification in 2015. and employs a staff of up to 120 employees and an annual turnover of Ksh160 million.

Bernard Ngore is the proprietor of SpringWells Hotel, a three-star facility located near Maua Town, Igembe South, Meru County.

Born and raised in Ncunguru village, Igembe South, Ngore made the decision to invest and establish the hotel in his home constituency.

SpringWells is strategically located: 273 kilometres from Nairobi, 48 km from Meru Town, 68 km from the Isiolo International Airport, and 26 km from the Meru National Park.

The hotel has accommodation amenities ranging from standard rooms to executive suites, costing from Ksh3,500 a night to Ksh8,000 a night.

The rooms come with a balcony, giving guests a panoramic view of the serene surrounding environment. The rooms are also fitted with a television set, WiFi, and a biometric safe for precious items.

SpringWells boasts two conference rooms, all of which offer excellent teleconferencing facilities such as notebooks, pens, a projector, and a television screen.
