Most couples’ greatest joy is having their own biological child/ children. Unfortunately, it is disconcerting that thousands of couples have for a long time suffered from the stigma of infertility. A 2011 study by Aga Khan Hospital shows that at least 2 million Kenyans suffer from infertility. It has led to marriage break-ups, depression, kidnapping, discrimination and fruitless visit to traditional doctors.
