Celestine Ndinda is a popular Kenyan celebrity and content creator. Her beautiful smile and the story of how she supported her husband through thick and thin has endeared her to many. The amiable Ndinda strives to be the best she can to avoid a life of squalor. During an interview on YouTube, she is asked what inspires her and this is what she said:
“What inspires me, Failing. Mi nikiamka nikifikiria tu siku moja nawezajipata ghai narudi as in sina. Narudi kule nilikua kitambo hauna job, unahitaji hii hauna. So, nikifikiria tu manze kufail, naamka nachangamka vibaya sana, sana sana sana,” she said.
The beautiful celebrity was born on 3rd September 1992. Originally, her family comes from Makueni but she was born in Mathare, Nairobi before her family moved to Githurai in Kiambu county.
Celestine attended Kenya Institute of Mass Communication (KIMC) to pursue a course on Studio Technical Operator.
Not much details are available on her parents but they are both present in her life. She has two siblings, a big brother based in Kwale and a young sister who is a student at Maseno University.
The KIMC graduate is married to Timothy Kimani, popularly known as Njugush. The two met while they were students at KIMC. She was a first year while her husband was a third year. They started off as friends before gradually entering into serious relationship.
Njugush was not one of those rich students. In fact, there were times he had nothing but she stuck with him through it all and chipped in where she could. The first time she met his family was at his graduation where she attended thinking he would be all alone. After which, she was invited to their home to celebrate Christmas.
Later, they got married in a colorful ceremony at PCEA Evergreen Runda. The reception was held in the church grounds. They told a section of the media how Njugush lost his job a few months to the wedding but they made do with what they had. They did not have much for the wedding and invited a few people only for a multitude to show up. Despite this, the ceremony was wonderful and full of jubilation and dances. They proceeded for their honeymoon in Mombasa’s Diani Beach Hotel instead of their preferred destination Zanzibar.
The lovebirds are blessed with one son, Tugi Kimani.
Njugush attested to Ndinda’s industry:
“She is a beautiful soul. She is happy. She is very hard working and she loves to achieve, yaani after something she will be like ..sasa hapa tunado? She is someone who will never let you be in the comfort zone, she will push you to do things, sasa tumefika hapa we need to do this, she is very smart and also She gets things faster” she told Betty Kyalo in Upclose with Betty.
The mother of one wanted to become a Nurse but found Biology difficult and dropped it, there went that dream.
Today, she has a YouTube channel with her husband that has over 300k subscribers. Through the channel, they have carried out several brand endorsements and one can say that content creation is enabling them to live a comfortable lifestyle. They consistently upload entertaining and educational content to fans on a weekly basis.
This year in February, partnering with her husband and other people, they had one of the best shows called “Through Thick and Thin.” The show, held on Valentine’s day, attracted a huge audience and all tickets were sold out.
