Ciala Resort is a four-star hotel located in Kisumu County overlooking the beautiful Maragoli Hills. The green serene environment gives guests a sense of comfort, all while enjoying the beauty.
The establishment is rated amongst the best hotels in the region.
The hotel which sits on 35 acres of land was opened in August 2018. It is located 12 kilometres from the Kisumu International Airport.
“Ciala was built out of town because there is a huge concentration of hotels in the city centre making it hard for people who want to get away from the hustle and noise there,” the business development manager Catherine Kibuchi told Business Daily in November 2018.
“The Maragoli hills was also a big inspiration to us, we were looking for a something new to offer to our customers which is different from the lake view,” Ms Kibuchi said.
The buildings are designed in an English colonial style with a luxurious modern twist. The modern rooms, landscaping and well-manicured gardens enhance the guest experience.
